CBC “takes a break” around key holidays on the US calendar to celebrate God and His goodness.

• Resurrection Day / Easter: Why do we celebrate a Jewish rabbi’s life & death (Good Friday) and His resurrection?  What difference does it make? 

• Mother’s & Father’s Day: Occassional sermons looking at mother’s & father’s in Scripture to gain encouragement to be “better” at leading, loving, and serving in our families.

• Thanksgiving: We want to be a thankful people, but what a time to reflect on God’s graciousness in salvation, in His provisions of our needs, for our families & friends, etc.  A service full of praise and gratitude.

• Christmas: Why do we have this holiday? Who is Jesus and why did He come (as a baby, live 30-ish years, to Israel) and why does it matter?
